Melbourne’s finest female soul voices join forces for one night only at Bella Union. Starring Kylie Auldist, Candice Monique, Shirley Davis, Chelsea Wilson, Christina Arnold (The Perfections) and DJ Miss Goldie this is a night of soul not to be missed.
Featuring a killer band line up including Jake Mason on organ (Cookin on 3 Burners), Lucas Taranto on bass (Gotye), Ivan ‘Choi’ Khatchoyan on drums (True Live) and Mitch Power on guitar (Deep Street Soul), get ready to shake and shimmy to hard hitting funk, sweet soul and deep rhythm and blues.
Paying tribute to the female legends of soul such as Etta James, Mitty Collier, Esther Phillips and Aretha Franklin, each vocalist will perform a mix of their own original songs as well as some classic tunes from the Stax, Motown and Chess record labels to get the dance floor rocking.
