Twilight Sounds is Banyule's flagship music event - a fantastic evening of local and popular Australian musicians playing in the relaxing natural environment of Sills Bend on the banks of the Yarra River.

Headline act Jordie Lane , described as ‘one of the country’s contemporary legends’, will captivate you with his nostalgic and affecting indie-folk songs which will stay with you long after he leaves the stage. Also playing are The Stetson Family , an acoustic five piece band combining bluegrass with folk Americana sounds, and Jemma and the Clifton Hillbillies , an eight piece alternative country band from Melbourne’s northern suburbs.

In between sets, our line-dancing experts will teach you the moves you need to keep dancing all night long, while kids can get creative in our free art tent and make a masterpiece to take home.
Pull up a hay bale, grab a bite to eat from one of the festival food vans or bring a picnic. Pasta, pizza, bbq rolls, Vietnamese street food, old school sweets, Spanish donuts and ice cream will be on offer from the food vans, with gluten free, halal and vegetarian options. Local microbrewery Kooinda will be offering craft beers or buy a wine or coffee from other local suppliers.

Come with your dancing boots and cowboy hat or just sit back and enjoy an unforgettable night with some of Australia’s best alternative country acts.

See the 2016 line-up below, and with an exciting act still to be announced soon!
