One of Australia’s hottest emerging soul bands – The Transatlantics- is coming back to Melbourne for one very special night! Shakin’ up the Northcote Social Club on Saturday the 27th of November.

If a band may be judged by the company it keeps then the prospects for The Transatlantics are excellent, having shared the stage with funk legends Eddie Bo, Fred Wesley, Menahan Street Band, Roy Ayers and The Bamboos, as well as being chosen as the band to back Soul Sister No.1 Marva Whitney on her most recent Australian tour. The international release of The Transatlantic’s debut album in October on Freestyle Records has attracted praise from all corners, with the first pressing of the lead 7” single selling out within 3 weeks of its release.

Also appearing on the night will be the young local talents of The OMGs, The Perfections and the Queen of soul and funk 45’s herself, Miss Goldie. This is one show not to be missed!

Tickets on sale via www.northcotesocialclub.com and at the box office 94861677 or in person via Corner Box Office 57 Swan Street, Richmond.
