PBS is proud to present The All Ages Afternoon Rock Show! A first of it's kind for the station, this youth  focused event will bring together some of our city's finest music makers - giving a space and opportunity for those up and coming gig enthusiasts to connect with local DIY musicians who are at the forefront of our independent music community. 

Entry is FREE, though RSVPs are essential. Tickets have now all been allocated. Though you can sign up to the ticket waitlist via the Eventbrite ticket link HERE

Happening at Cactus Room in Thornbury on Saturday November 11, this alcohol free event will take place across the daylight hours of 2pm - 4:30pm. Featuring sets from groove based punk trio Mod Con and fuzzed out garage stylists Bad Bangs. Plus DJ Jordan Oakley (Underground Love) spinning the hits when you need it most! 

All ages are welcome and encouraged! Though if you are under 12, you must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. 


Doors: 2pm

Jordan Oakley DJ: 2pm - 2:30pm

Bad Bangs: 2:30pm - 3:15pm

Jordan Oakley DJ: 3:15 - 3:45pm

Mod Con: 3:45pm - 4:30pm


Please note:

  • There will be no pass outs for this show - if you leave, we won't be able to grant you entry back into the venue. Of course we understand sometimes you just need a bit of a time out and space away from the party! Please see a PBS staff member who will be able to assist you.
  • To ensure this event is a safe and enjoyable environment for all; alcohol, illicit substances, or tobacco and vapes will not be permitted at this event. 
  • If you're bringing any bottles of water or other liquids, please make sure these are unopened when arriving at the venue. 

For access, the front entrance has couple of small steps. There is ramp access via the back gate, which can be opened if required. The venue itself is mostly flat, aside from a small door frame coming out of the bandroom to the back area.
