Wed 2 Oct 2019 to Sat 26 Oct 2019

Emile Zile is an artist, filmmaker and performer who makes use of site specific performance and portraiture to capture the traces of humanity within our digital culture.

Annika Koops specialises in paint and digital media. Her work explores the ways in which subjectivity is distilled in the online sphere, and recently, the boundaries between online and offline personas.

Together, they're presenting Surface Creep, a new exhibition at Bus Projects.

Shimmering over the surfaces of rendered shapes, a creeping inertia draws. A dead space with living breath, embalmed under a layer of moisture. Without meat eyes, we see perfectly. Operating at a dank frequency we twitch and preen, meticulous agents.

Running from October 2 to October 26
