Combining sunshine with standout live music, Stonnington’s beloved summer concert Sunset Sounds returns to Malvern Public Gardens on Sunday January 18, 2026.
Music lovers and good-vibe seekers are invited to soak up the long summer days and settle in for an evening of exceptional performances from some of Australia’s finest musical talents, as Stonnington presents this long-running – and completely free – summer tradition.
This year’s headline act is the powerhouse electronic duo Electric Fields, known for their magnetic stage presence and exhilarating fusion of electronic dance and soul. Zaachariaha Fielding and Michael Ross have earned national and international accolades and acclaim, dazzling audiences across the globe and representing Australia at Eurovision in 2024.
Joining the line-up is genre-defying artist Parvyn, bringing her inimitable ethereal vocals and unique blend of classical Indian raga, soul and jazz, to the Sunset Sounds stage. Parvyn’s cultural heritage and years of experience promise a mesmerising and unforgettable performance. PBS’s DJ Lyndelle Wilkinson, who returns as MC, will be guiding audiences through the line-up and spinning tunes across the afternoon. A delicious selection of food trucks will round out the perfect summer atmosphere.
Sunset Sounds is proudly presented by PBS 106.7FM.
