A benefit gig has been announced for Melbourne musician Stewy Cunningham following his lung cancer diagnosis in early June.

Cunningham emerged in the Melbourne underground, with bands such as The Proton Energy Pills, Brother Brick, The Yes Men, Asteroid B-612, Challenger 7 and, for the last 12 years, Leadfinger.

Hosted by Leadfinger, the line-up includes HOSS, The Draught Dodgers, Swedish Magazines, Powerline Sneakers, Wrong Turn, Matty Whittle and Melwayholics Anonymous plus a special appearance by James McCann and Adalita.

The concert’s name See You Tonight – named after one of his songs – is being held at the Tote Hotel on Friday, September 14.

With the assistance of great labels and record stores across Australia, there will be raffles including CDs, Vinyl, tees and other goodies to be won.

Tickets available now via The Tote.

Those unable to attend can donate HERE.

All proceeds go to his partner and two daughters.
