Glitter and Doom uncovers the sordid, political and musical history of an art form that is as cynical as it is glamorous.

It's an exploration of cabaret as a musical genre and performance art form, from turn-of-the-century Parisian chanson, to Brechtian art song to contemporary rock 'n' roll and punk cabaret.

The program features local and international artists, from almost a century of recording history across a breathtakingly eclectic range of cabaret and related musical curios, freaks and outliers.

Tune into Glitter and Doom with Jennifer Kingwell, 7-8pm every Tuesday.
