Sat 6 Apr 2024 to Sun 7 Apr 2024

The Makers and Shakers Market is heading to the Royal Exhibition Building in Carlton next month for a mega craft celebration, with over 150 stalls showcasing the best in homewares, sustainable fashion, and tasty food and drinks on Saturday 6 and Sunday 7 April.

It's the only makers market in Victoria to curate a lineup where every stall offers 100 percent Australian-made goods and is an official partner of the Australian Made Campaign!

In addition to exploring the diverse stalls, attendees can join creative workshops tailored for both adults and kids, and indulge in food and drink product tastings. Plus, there'll be vinyl DJ sets all weekend from PBS legends including Mz Rizk, Emma Peel, Sarita and Elle Young.

The market line up can be found here.

The workshop schedule can be found here.

Food highlights include Gigi's gelato, Sebby's Scrolls, crust-masters Pie Thief, woodfire pizza from Basil & Oregano, and Loafer Bread (arguably Melbourne's best hot cross bun bakers) will do an encore bun release just for the market!

Creative stall highlights include paper art master Laura Blythman; Made590 bringing their inspiring patterns and inclusive size range from Sydney; and founding Erstwilder brooch designer Louisa Camille with her solo brand, Peppy Chapette, plus many more talented creatives will share their wares, just in time for Mother's Day.
