Junkyard is a one hour show that is specialized each week, based on artist or genre. Each Thursday evening, your host Michael Mulholland will dedicate an hour to an artist, label or producer, detailing their history and play selected tracks from their releases.
Every week on Junkyard, you can expect to hear artist focused specials with upcoming touring artists as part of the show. Segments feature in studio performances, chats and can cover any facet of the industry from respected musicians, underground record labels, iconic producers and even cities of interest that have pushed whole movements by creating an underground scene of music and culture.
Past shows have included interviews with Henry Rollins, Mick Harvey, Peter Hook (Joy Division), The Damned, Mick Harvey (The Birthday Party, The Bad Seeds), Isobel Campbell & Mark Lanegan, Tex Perkins and indie labels such as Off the Hip plus heaps more.
