The annual Lee Street Fete is set for Sunday 18th March 2012. A great foodie fete, offering a feast of deliciously authentic food, alongside day-long live entertainment, market stalls with all on offer and a wholesome supply of generous fun for the kids with rides, sideshows, talent quests, toys, animals and fun foods. This is a day where the whole family can genuinely come together, enjoy great food, festivities and abundance.

This year promises to be better than ever for foodies who will be dished up a serious culinary smorgasbord of choice. From generously packed middle eastern food wraps, tasty fried rice & dumplings, deeply Indian-inspired curries, crispy Italian wood fired pizzas, to the famous Lee Street traditional aussie BBQ there is something on offer for the young and the young at heart. A new food and wine stand is sure to steal the show, offering mums and dads and aunts to grandpas, the perfect excuse to relax. Coffee is home in Carlton, come and enjoy the great bean on offer; while a fete simply wouldn’t be complete without a kids homemade lemonade stand, snow-cones and fairy floss. Top it all off with freshly homemade cakes and tummy-rubbing jams and pickles.

Visitors can enjoy live eclectic music throughout the day from the music stage. Lee Street Fete has music for the kids, the adults and music for the colourful. Plus a carnival of rides to lucky bottle stalls at Lee Street’s very own sideshow alley, keep the kids entertained. Little ones can visit the nursery animals while big kids mix it up and enter the ever-popular talent quest stall. Our giant slide extravaganza means a day of non-stop fun!

Or select from beautiful plants or crafties can get their fix with homemade nick nacks.
