Old-school Australian Punk group The Fiction are joining us for a Studio 5 Live session ahead of the release of their new album RAMONA, their first newly recorded release since their original one year stint in in the late 1970s.

Formed in Melbourne in 1978 the Fiction’s first ever single, the punk classic 'Things Will Be Different / Take Me, I'm Yours' was released by founding member Rob Griffiths under the name of his new band, Little Murders in 1979.  The Fiction surged back into our hearts and minds in late 2017 with the release of their first full-length album Negative Fun, originally a rehearsal tape recorded before the band had even played on stage.

Listen back to Junkyard on Thursday June 6 to catch The Fiction’s Studio 5 Live session.
