PBS 106.7FM’s Burning Bitumen has been clearing out the cobwebs for a decade now, playing the best in extreme metal, punk and ball tearing rock from 10pm til midnight on Wednesdays.

To celebrate this milestone, Burning Bitumen’s Kene Lightfoot is bringing six of Melbourne ‘s loudest bands to destroy Pony on Saturday 25th June for the Boganic Plague.

The line up: Frankenbok- you’ll need to bring some protection from their breed of heavy fkn metal. Clagg, whose earth shattering doom is some of the best in the planet. King Parrot, a Melbourne supergroup of sorts who will punch holes in you. If you love your heavy end seventies style rock/metal, then Sons of the Ionian Sea are your bag . Those flannelette wearing bourbon swillin’ trouble makers Bogan Nation will also be there, and last but not least, new young metal guns Bricks and you know what they say about bricks right (they’re heavy)!

Kev Lobotomy and Kene Lightfoot will be keepin it all together djing til all hours.

So get your ass down to Boganic Plague at Pony on Saturday 25th of June and celebrate 10 years of Burning Bitumen on the airwaves. It’s only 10 Bucks, or 5 if you’re a PBS member.
