Slick, modern and funky are words often used to describe multi-award winning blues band Blue Eyes Cry. Hardworking would be another. From the un-air conditioned comfort of their touring van,the band regularly journey from their home base of Melbourne to perform at festivals and gigs across the Australia.

Since the May 2013 release of their debut album, Sleepin’ Alone, Blue Eyes Cry have gone from
strength to strength. Upon release, the album saw two consecutive months at number one in the
Australian Blues and Roots Airplay Chart, and continued to appear in the chart’s Top 25 for the next
12 months.

Following this, the band was awarded two prestigious Chain Awards for 'Best New Talent of the
Year' and 'Song of the Year'. Lead singer, Iseula Hingano, was awarded Female Artist of the Year in the 2013 Victorian and Tasmanian Blues Music Awards. And the band was awarded an Honourable Mention in the 2013 International Song Writing Competition.
