Hailed in Melbourne, Australia, as ‘The Belle of Rootsy-Rockabilly-Twang’ award winning songstress Abbie Cardwell (vocals, guitar, harmonica, ukulele and banjo) had one rule when she led Her Leading Men (brother Jeb on guitars and dobro and much in-demand drummer Ashley Davies) into Melbourne’s Audrey Studios for two hectic days.

This one rule was that each of the 11 songs was to be recorded live with no editing and no overdubbing. It was to be Abbie & Her Leading Men playing live, no more and no less.
