The Milk Carton Kids are duo Kenneth Pattengale and Joey Ryan, based predominantly in Los Angeles. While their style could easily and comfortably be pitched in the folk camp, the absolute union of the men's voices - through timbre and harmony - has genre and instrumentation fall away. With voices so mesmerising, they could exist as an a cappella project of strength. The Ash & Clay is their debut album on ANTI- but follows a previous release the pair made available for free download on their website, so look into their earlier works too!
