The Annual Orphfund Auction
Thursday July 19: Doors open at 6pm
at Rose Street Artists Market, 60 Rose Street Fitzroy

Doors open at 6, main auction starts at 7.30.
Door charge $5 which includes a raffle ticket and glass of mulled wine.

Auctions, music, food, drinks and fun - 100% of funds raised on the night will benefit the children that Orphfund supports.

On July 19 we will be holding our annual auction night made possible by the donations of fantastic items such as an Indian Intrepid tour for 2, photography, designer furniture, paintings and much more. There will be a main auction and a silent auction, food, wine and live music. The funds raised from the night will build a music and art school in Sierra Leone, a vital step in childrens development that we take totally for granted - We hope that the school will allow hundreds of children to be able to learn to draw, paint and play an instrument for generations to come.

About the Charity:

OrphFund is a unique volunteer organisation based in Melbourne, run by volunteers so that 100% of donations go towards helping children in some of the worlds poorest countries - places where kids without any parents don’t stand much of a chance.
Orphfund projects aim to help abandoned or orphaned children with shelter, education, care and a better chance for the future. Orphfund has built homes, schools, training centres, installed water pumps, solar power and established gardens and farms in remote areas of Sierra Leone, Uganda, Kenya and Cambodia.

OrphFund will be building a school for children to have access to music and art, something that is almost entirely overlooked in the typical school day in Sierra Leone. The children we support have all faced incredibly tough upbringings, we believe giving access to the arts is a vital step in helping them develop and express themselves.

The school will be named the Bre Taylor Art Centre, in memory of a special friend and volunteer who we sadly lost recently.
