PBS listeners will have noticed a familiar voice on Tuesday afternoons between 5 and 7pm. After a number of years doing shows at the other end of the day – including over 3 years as the co-host of The Breakfast Spread – Lyndelle Wilkinson has returned to a full-time afternoon gig on the PBS airwaves with her new show The Afterglow.

Tune in every Tuesday afternoon to hear tunes taken from across the musical spectrum – from R&B, soul and funk to jazzy lounge and even some romantic electronica. As you’d expect at PBS there’ll also be a little bit of upbeat indie rock & roll and even some old school hip-hop. The single unifying element of this disparate music is the mood – two hours of music that makes you feel good and leaves you with a warm afterglow.

Also included in The Afterglow will be guest spots each month from some of Melbourne’s emerging DJs, new releases and information about arts and music events happening in our fine city.

As we head into winter, make a date each week to spend some time in The Afterglow with Lyndelle Wilkinson.
