'Filament' is the latest exploration in percussion for Speak Percussion. Kankawa Nagarra (Olive Knight) born in the sand and washed in the ash of the desert nomad campfire in about 1943. Living a traditional nomads life in the sandhills of the Kimberly until the age of 8. Kankawa has lived many lives from witnessing cattle station slavery to touring the world as a member of the Hugh Jackman Broadway show. Kankawa is an activist, elder who sings Walmatjarri, Kimberly Creole, English and other known and lost languages. Kankawa stops by the station to sing a few songs.
