The Rookies' fourth album, Feed The Fire, was written collaboratively, first online bouncing ideas back and forth, and then in the rehearsal room. Listening to this record is as much a journey as we imagine writing it to have been. This is one of the reasons we picked it as a PBS Feature Album. As the band prepares to launch the album in April, members Greg Sher and Joel Trigg chat to Mike Gurrieri about what inspired the making of this album.

Following a critically acclaimed tour of the UK last year, The Three Seas embark on an extensive Australian tour throughout March and April. The international, cross-cultural ensemble fuses West Bengal and Himalayan folk song with contemporary sounds from Sydney and Kolkata. Soaring Baul vocals and majestic sounds from North India intertwine with Bengali beats and deep grooves combine into an energetic electro-dub, funk and Hindustani music. Acclaimed bass hero Victor Wooten returns to Australia for a run of headline shows in May and June. Colin calls by the Global Village to talk about 'Time Distance Music' at Fuse Festival March 25 - 26.

Songs from Mermaid Avenue celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic album by Billy Bragg and Wilco, which set new music to previously unheard lyrics folk icon Woody Guthrie. Mermaid Avenue provides an intriguing into the persona of Guthrie, revealing him to be a joker, lover, boozer that spawned the classics ‘California Stars’ and ‘Way Over Yonder In The Minor Key.' Michael, Craig and Bek stop by PBS to talk about performing this material at The Lomond Hotel March 19 and play a couple tunes.

Singer-songwriter Stefanie Duzel calls by 5ft High & Rising to talk about a triple album launch at MEMO March 26. Billed as 'The Good, The Bad & The Lonely' it'll feature herself alongside country, roots and Americana artists Matt Joe Gow & The Dead Leaves and Duncan Phillips with MC Kerryn Fields.

Vocalist Liela Moss releases her third solo album 'Internal Working Model.' 'Internal Working Model' bristles with frustration at our disconnected culture but also crucially burns with a desire to reconnect. Liela spoke to Michael about the album and her career.
