Come from Away is a musical that tells the true story of the unexpected landing of 38 planes in Gander, Newfoundland, Canada, during the fateful September 11 attack. The story portrays a depth of human kindness so rare that every night this show gets a standing ovation. Julie and Lucy talked to director Daniel Goldstein about how the show grew to be the success it is today and it’s opening night in Melbourne.

In 2021, White Hills discovered a vintage looking hard drive and a small journal in an old WWII naval trunk that had been propping up some gear in their studio. The journal contained handwritten notes detailing a concept and flow for their 2007 album 'Heads on Fire.' Unplugged in St Kilda is a podcast created and presented by Sally Moore that celebrates and documents St Kilda's fantastic music scene of the 1970s - 1990s. Formed in 2010 by James Tom and Dylan Lieberman, Krakatau is a band with an interest in the freeform side of late '60s/early '70s psychedelic music. Over the years, their influences shifted in direction to that of long form jazz composition, minimal music, and progressive left field sounds. They're putting on an evening of music in the Estonian House Theatre, on September 17th. James drops in on Eternal Rhythm to tell Shio about this show.

Over the last few years Kevin Borich has kept himself busy writing an autobiography and recording a duets album. To celebrate his 60th year in the music business and his 75th trip around the sun the iconic guitarist has remastered and compiled all of his favourite tracks spanning 1973 to 1981 onto a 3 CD boxset. K-BOX is about a 30-something year old Korean adoptee named Lucy who hasn’t been home in a while. She’s quit her job, dumped her boyfriend, and turned up on her adoptive parents’ doorstep needing somewhere to crash.
