Rock-A-Bye Baby - PBS 106.7FM’s #1 kid friendly music event is taking place at the Hawthorn Arts Centre from 11am until midday on Wednesday October 22. This edition of Rock-A-Bye Baby will feature a live performance from looping sister duo Charlie Needs Braces, creating music inspired by landscapes and learning about their family. In 1978, local duo Essendon Airport was formed by David Chesworth on Wurlitzer electric piano and Robert Goodge on guitar, accompanied by a home-made drum machine. Embracing minimalism, repetition, irony, and experimentation, Essendon Airport are now releasing a new album 'MOR', revisiting their early minimalist work with songs from and around the 'Sonic Investigations' era, reimagined in expanded full-band arrangements.
