In August 2021, pop auter Geoffrey O'Connor released a stunning collection of duets on his full length release, For As Long As I Can Remember. Geoffrey, his band and guests are finally set to launch the LP live this Saturday at Northcote Social Club, but not before he joins Maddy and Kurt on Homebrew on PBS FM this afternoon to fill us in on what we can expect.

In 2019, Nigerian singer-saxophonist Femi Kuti joined local champions of Afrobeat The Public Opinion Afro Orchestra to play the fourth iteration of Beasts of No Nation, the annual PBS event paying homage to the irrefutable king of Afrobeat, Fela Kuti. It was 1989 when Zydeco Jump first hit the Melbourne music scene at the Esplanade Hotel on a Sunday afternoon. Their 9 years of performances every Sunday afternoon there are now the stuff of legend. It was a full house every week and the dance floor was jumping. Now in 2022 they make their back to their spiritual home of St Kilda.
