Originally hitting the airwaves fortnightly from 2am, Solaris quickly moved into a weekly slot where their mix of early experimental electronica and very contemporary excursions in beats, bleeps and textures sat perfectly at the end of every weekend.

Believe it or not, it's no easy feat to find the ultimate symbolic embodiment in one striking and memorable image.
