on Firewater
What started as late-night bar shifts and shared ideas amongst friends at Fremantle's Mojos Bar, GRUB has grown into a formidable musical force. Fronted by songwriter and lyricist Matilda Beales, GRUB's new single 'Shake It' is a frenetic plunge into GRUB's world, crashing together raw garage-punk energy with a dark-disco pulse. Claire Stuchbury catches up with Matilda on Firewater, tune in to hear about the band's self-titled debut album, which comes out October 9.
