PBS Celebrates International Women’s Day

Once again PBS will be celebrating the extraordinary women in our community with a special 24 hours of broadcasting on International Women’s Day, Tuesday March 8 - bringing a vast mix of genres across the day from women who are committed members of the PBS family - regular announcers, fill-in broadcasters and previous show presenters returning to celebrate the day.

After 15 years at the helm of our iconic community radio station PBS 106.7FM, our General Manager, Adrian Basso, will be stepping down mid-year.

During Basso’s tenure, our station has grown into a nationally and internationally respected music institution that has survived many challenges, including the Global Financial Crisis and the Covid pandemic, to emerge bigger and stronger than ever before.
