Gene Tree is a new project from composer/percussionist Elissa Goodrich. Inspired by climate science and DNA modelling, the compositions take stories from our genetic maps of adaption, resilience, extinction; the genetic story of the peppered moth and the migratory monarch butterfly; and, musical interpretations of DNA and its patterns.
