Ruby Jones will play Studio 5 on Stone Love, celebrating the release of her second album, Souvenir. What can be described as a powerful and deeply reflective new body of work, has been shaped by exploring intergenerational trauma, climate anxiety and cycles of rebirth through sweeping arrangements and striking, image-rich songwriting. Cerro's debut solo release "The Infinite Hum" is a 5-track EP blending dubby house and cozy Balearica. Influenced by the four months he spent in Colombia and returning to the neighborhood he grew up in, Cerro put the EP together in a modest travelling studio with a small collection of analogue hardware. Releasing via local imprint Proto Exotica in late June, tune in to hear him chat with Jonny about what went into the creation of his work. 

LA-based Kevin Morby is releasing his eighth studio album, Little Wide Open. Inspired by a road trip he took with his mum in rural Kansas, USA, the album embodies the beauty and openness of the Midwest's surroundings, where Kevin spent his life growing up. Joining Myles on 5ft High and Rising, tune in to hear them catch up about his latest work. 

Mastaneh Nazarian and Sanaz Sadaatfar join Roger on Global Village for an exclusive live to air performance. Both with a rich musical background spanning guitar, oud and the kamancheh, each artist has mastered their craft in a poetic and captivating way. Listen in to hear them share more about their music, its history, and how this intertwines with Iran and its diaspora.

Award-winning Sydney-based guitarist and composer Hilary Geddes brings her quartet to The Jazzlab on Wednesday May 20, presenting music from their sophomore album Redleaf. Tune in from 8pm to hear Geddes talk with Greg Sher about the new album and how it sits at the intersection of contemporary jazz, improvisation and song-driven expression. 

Possible Utopias for Jazz Quintet is the latest work from Laurence Pike, out on May 29 via Spanish label Balmat. Not to be fooled by the name, the album features no jazz quintet - just Pike, his drums and his machines. Tune in to Stars In The Static to hear him catch up with Greg about his show on June 7 at The Jazzlab, which will feature pieces from the new record, some re-imaginings of older music, plus some brand-new stuff.

Hal Langley from 3RRR's Local and/or General joins Brooke on Homebrew for a special community radio crossover. Like Brooke, Hal delivers quality new Australian and NZ releases, focusing on local, emerging artists. Rob Rowe joins Helen Jennings from 9am for a special co-presented edition of Roots of Rhythm this Radio Festival. Named the 2025 Industry Icon of the Blues Music Victoria Hall of Fame and President of Way Out West Roots Music Club, Rob Rowe is an integral part of the Roots music scene and an old of friend PBS. Together they share the mic to talk about their wealth of music knowledge, their favourite things about PBS and why community radio plays such an important role in our music scene. 

Joining Helen for the second half of Roots of Rhythm is legendary radio presenter, OAM recipient and musicologist Billy Pinnell. Billy makes his yearly return to the PBS airwaves this Radio Festival to bring you an hour of co-hosted community radio goodness. Tune in from 10am to hear Helen and Billy chat more about their shared love for PBS and how listeners can help 'Fuel the Frequency' of 106.7 FM.
