Stopping by Pojama People tonight is local heavy southern rock group, Rosewood. Made up of Gabriel Phillips on guitar and vocals, Regan Batley on guitar, James Barwick on drums and Matt Berg on bass, they'll be chatting with Chris Pearson about their upcoming single launch 'Down The Line', which is taking place at Lulie Tavern on September 11.

With their new album 'Necropolitan', UK band Green Lung has stripped back some of the elaborate production that their album 'This Heathen Land' showcased. It could be heavier than 'This Heathen Land', more focused than 'Black Harvest', but still unmistakably Green Lung. Chris Pearson catches up with Green Lung on Pojama People.

Tune in to Tyrannocoreus as Ryan chats with Daniel Furnari, drummer for Eora/ Sydney metalcore group Polaris. Having formed in 2012 and with multiple ARIA Award nominations up their sleeve, the band has been through a lot in the last few months. This week on the show, Ryan will be chatting with Karl Spiessl on Tyrannocoreus, the vocalist for Gippsland metalcore group Ocean Sleeper. Sydney’s indie rock/blues artist Nathan Cavaleri is coming to town for his show 'Growing Pains - The Nathan Cavaleri Story', playing at Memo Music Hall on September 10. From child prodigy to cancer survivor, from global stages to mental health collapse, Nathan has quite the story to tell. Joining Lauren Plant on Down By The River ahead of his show that night, tune in for a live performance from Nathan. 

The second album from DC Maxwell called 'The Singer' came out in May, and today on Radio City, DC Maxwell and his band will be joining Crispi to perform tracks from the album, live in Studio 3. Inspired from 90s rock bangers to tenderly written ballads with legendary US songwriter Bonnie “Prince” Billy, 'The Singer' is an album for the current moment, interrogating what it means to make and enjoy art in an age where death looms over our every breath. Tune in for this live performance.

Ahead of his show at Memo Music Hall on September 11, Pinky Beecroft will be stopping by Swinging Doors to catch up with Ernie on the show. Launching his new album 'Lonesome Wolf' - his first studio album in more than a decade, Pinky was also the singer songwriter and frontman of Machine Gun Fellatio, a band known for legendary live shows, extreme shenanigans and a string of radio hits. Tune in after 3pm to hear Pinky Beecroft live in the studio.

Victoria songwriter Jess Parker has released her second single off her fourth coming 5th album 'Blue Collar Tanline', and she'll be joining Ernie on Swinging Doors to perform the song live in studio. An old soul in a modern world, Parker's signature haunting vocals and fierce fingerpicking rings true on their latest single release 'Lady from Doreen'. Tune in from 4pm to hear from Jess Parker.

'Psychedelia in White', the third album from former member of Nick Cave and the Bad Seeds, Mick Harvey and longtime collaborator Amanda Acevedo, is a natural evolution from their 2023 duet debut, 'Phantasmagoria in Blue'. Tonight on Junkyard, Mick drops by the show to chat with Michael Mulholland about their new record, which explores themes of mysticism, mythology, love, and loss. 

Off the back of his sixth album 'Age of Aquarius', acclaimed synthwave group Perturbator will bring his cyberpunk sound all the way from France, to support Health at the Forum on September 20. Ahead of his trip to Australia, Kene catches up with the mastermind behind Perturbator, James Kent, on Burning Bitumen.

Joining Kene on Burning Bitumen tonight is Greg from UK gothic doom band Paradise Lost. Formed in Halifax in 1988, Paradise Lost carved out their legacy as pioneers of gothic metal; a brooding fusion of crushing heaviness and shadow‑drenched melody. Never content to remain static, the band has spent decades fearlessly exploring every corner of the dark‑music spectrum.  Tune in to hear about their forthcoming tour in Australia, playing at Max Watt's on October 20.

The South of the River Choir is a community choir celebrating diversity and harmony through a shared passion for singing. Under the direction of Annemarie Sharry, the choir explores the music and rhythms of Africa, African American gospel and original compositions. 'Bus Stop' is the new single from local ten piece band Orange Moon. Infusing filthy rhythms and funky brass with ethereal vocals, 'Bus Stop' evokes a journey of heartbreak, exploring what it is to rebuild a sense of self and home. On their sophomore album 'Pareidolia', Adelaide psychedelic rock project Druid Fluids explores the human instinct to find meaning in patterns, connections and coincidences. Through their melange of psych-pop and prog-rock, paired with experimental production, the band asks a central question: what do we truly see, and what do we only think we see? Coming out in November, tune in to Pojama People to hear about Druid Fluids' new record.

Tonight on Tyrannocoreus, Ryan Evans will be joined by Leah Noir for a special collaborative show. During the program, Leah will air her interview with German atmospheric post-metal group The Ocean (also known as The Ocean Collective). Seasoned musical director Kent Ross is a composer and chief conductor of the Casey Philharmonic Orchestra. On October 10, the orchestra will be presenting 'Level Up! Orchestral Game Music' at Bunjil Place, featuring music from beloved titles such as God of War, Skyrim, Assassin's Creed, The Legend of Zelda, as well as several Australian-developed games, including Bones: Wandering Soul and Copycat. Kent joins Matt on Game Jams to chat about this performance, and the games that will be featured.

'Daughter of The King' is the debut album from local artist Grace Mitchell, bringing together her unmistakable songwriting with a raw, guitar-heavy sound steeped in the grit and melodicism of ’90s alternative and grunge rock. With a special hometown launch at Shotkickers on Friday September 18, Crispi catches up with Grace on Radio City. Tune in to hear Grace chat about the new record.

French-Belgian producer Tour-Maubourg will be bringing his blend of soulful house, acid jazz and trip-hop to Australia for the very first time. Over the past few years, Tour-Maubourg has established himself as one of Europe's most exciting electronic artists, captivating audiences with his warm, groove-driven productions and emotionally rich live sets. 'BLAK N BLUES' is a conversation in blues music, art and poetry. Created by Wiradjuri man Uncle Glenn Loughrey and internationally awarded blues guitarist Fiona Boyes, it brings together two enduring oral traditions - First Nations storytelling and the deep blues. Ahead of the show, Helen catches up with Fiona about the event, which will take place at Wheat, Wine and Whisky from October 13 - 18.

'This Parallel Dimension' is Dan Flynn's new album featuring his two sons, Sebastian Flynn on bass guitar and Euca Flynn on drums. While it's a proud dad moment, the record is a collection of some of Dan's most compelling work, propelled by a combination of masterful songwriting and youthful abandon. Locally based visual artist and author Pauline Bailey has got a new book coming out called 'Blues portrait Vol Six'. Recognised for her depictions of music venues, Pauline was awarded the Melbourne Blues Appreciation Society’s Allan Stafford Award for Services to Blues Music. Tune in to hear about the book launch taking place at The Yorkshire Stingo on October 10, with live music from The Blow Out, Stingo’s resident house band, plus special guests from 3.30pm–9.30pm.

Local blues harmonica player and educator Matthew “Whalebone” White has been immersed in the blues for more than 15 years. As one half of Wilson & White, a popular acoustic and electric blues duo known for their authentic juke-joint sound, Matthew performs classic Chicago blues and stomps at venues across Victoria, bringing that same raw feel-for-the-music directly into the workshop room. For its fifteenth anniversary, Adalita will be performing her self-titled album, which marked the beginning of her remarkable solo journey, at Theatre Royal in Castlemaine on September 18. Raw, intimate, and emotionally fearless, the album struck a deep chord with listeners and remains one of the most beloved and influential Australian releases of its time.
