ROOMAN

ROOMAN

Arts : State of the Art  for Wednesday 15 November 2017, 8:30am

Tune into The Breakfast Spread Wednesday November 15 for State of the Art with artist Fleur Elise Noble chatting about their latest show ROOMAN.

ROOMAN is a very real story about falling in love with a fantasy. It is a heart-warming, heart-breaking, visual-musical extravaganza!

The new visual-performance by Fleur Elise Noble, ROOMAN, is a rich tapestry of puppetry, projection, drawing, dance and sound installation. Like a low-tech hologram, or a high-tech paper pop-up book, ROOMAN takes the audience on a journey inside worlds of animated universes as they unfold upon a giant 3-dimensional paper set.

Fleur Elise Noble is a director, maker and performer. She works with the mediums of drawing, painting, sculpture, puppetry, costume, set design, animation, film, editing, projection, performance and dance to create art works, animated films and visual performances.  ROOMAN is her second major production, and like her first, the story and physical material that she uses to tell it, has been developed and refined over about 5 years.
