Mon 1 Feb 2016 to Fri 5 Feb 2016

Our annual live-to-air extravaganza Drive Live was epic this year! Five afternoons of live music dominating the airwaves in the first week of February.

Click on the red band links below to see some killer videos of the live performances!

The stellar lineup included Terrible Truths, hot off their raw and rollicking LP launch tour; Batpiss , always ready to tear the roof off of our house and the neighbours’; the captivating, intoxicating, and critically acclaimed Sui Zhen; dancefloor darlings and brain re-arrangers friendships; and one of Melbourne’s most revered exports, The Drones.

They were joined by synth drone masters Taipan Tiger Girls; darkwave duo Mollusc; the wonderfully deranged Deafwish, on the back of their Sub Pop debut Pain; Deep Heat, with their cutting blend of post-punk, garage and the sounds of the US indie underground of the 80s; the alt-noir genius of Jess Ribeiro; second wave riot grrrls Wet Lips ; sharpie thrashers Grotto; the beguiling organ-driven gloom of Little Desert; the one-woman keyboard mastery of Waterfall Person and the anti-disco carnage of Drug Sweat.
