Paving the way for the much-anticipated return of live music, Melbourne Music Week (MMW) will see over 300 acts return to the stage for headline gigs, day parties, industry talks, DJ sets, live film scores, and much more.
While the core MMW program will run from 3 –12 December, there will also be a series of larger shows taking place in January and February, 2022.

Highlights include:
The return of Live Music Safari on Sunday December 12 where twelve iconic Melbourne venues from The Curtin to Colour Club host over seventy artists including Soju Gang, Anuraag, Teether & Kuya Neil, Mehdi, Press Club, Exek, Tiana Khasi (live), Dj Jnett and more.
Melbourne Music Week Club at Max Watts. Over 8 nights the Club will host punk, soul and electronic music with acts ranging from BILLY DAVIS, Teymori, Emma Volard, Dan from Cut Copy, Akosia, BUMPY and Ruby Savage.
Protopia, a Melbourne Music Week talk series featuring speakers such as Holly Herndon streaming in live from Berlin, Alice Skye, Bridget Chappel, Alexander Powers and more. Experience these forward-thinking conversations with themes of interdependence, communal IP and voice ownership and collaborating with AI and cyborgs.
Wax'o Paradiso at an open-air bash in the city featuring: Wax’o Paradiso + Lauren Hansom (SYD) + Surprise Chef + dj pgz + Claddy + Hi-Care + Izabel + Sophie McAlister + Palazzo.
