Homebrew

Comprised of best friends and lovers, Ned, Ethan, Bec and Van, Stimpies have been around the ringer, honing in their western inspired rock and roll sound, pulling concepts from the blues, psychedelia, old school punk, and country, as well as alternative indie and Australiana. Joining Brooke on Homebrew today, tune in to hear about their new album 'Doing Good', which will be released on their own label called TripleNine on October 9.

Created and recorded using the modular synthesizer setup that the band toured with during last year’s ‘rave shows’, the new album 'Alien Metal' from King Gizzard and The Lizard Wizard sees the band exploring the darker side of electronic dance music. Brooke catches up with members of the band on Homebrew, chatting about the new album, along with The Croxton Block Party which takes place on October 17 - 18.

With a back catalogue that spans pop, new-wave, punk, alt-rock and folk, Liam Snowy Halliwell is a creator at heart. With a long history in bands such as The Ocean Party and Snowy Band, Snowy leans into his sense of self as he unveils his new solo project under his real name, with the announcement of album 'Pure Joy'. Liam stops by Homebrew, tune in for an acoustic live performance from the local artist, and to hear about his new project.
