1. Roberta Flack | Compared To What | First Take
- One of the first covers of this classic song, written by Eugene McDaniels. This is from Roberta's first album, released in 1969.
2. Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings | Sail On! | Soul Of A Woman
- This is an album consisting of Sharon's final recordings, released posthumously a year after her passing.
3. Kerbside Collection | Quicksilver | Trash Or Treasure
- Taken from this Brisbane-based band's 2015 album.
4. Isaac Hayes | Pursuit Of The Pimpmobile | Truck Turner
- A long, epic instrumental taken from Isaac's score to the 1974 Blaxplotation film that he also starred in.

5. ESG | You're No Good | ESG [EP]
- ESG are playing at the Meredith Music Festival on Friday night, followed by 3 gigs with No Zu at The Night Cat from Saturday to Monday. This track is from their first EP, released in 1981.
6. King Krule | Biscuit Town | The Ooz
- The Ooz is the 2nd album by English musician Archy Marshall under the King Krule name. He will be playing at the Golden Plains festival in March as well as a sideshow at The Croxton on March 8 although this is sold out.
7. Lost Animal | Buai Raskol | Ex Tropical
- King Krule reminded me of Lost Animal so I thought I'd play this great tune from LA's first album, released in 2011.
8. Pony Face | Red Revolver | Deja Vu
- Taken from Pony Face's new album which will be released in early Jan. The album launch is at Howler on Jan 27th w/Ute Root + Palm Springs.

9. Parsnip | Seeing Red | Health (EP)
- Health is the debut release from this Melbourne/Geelong based band.
10. Claire Birchall & The Phantom Hitchhikers | Looking Out For You | Nothing Ever Gets Lost
- They will be playing as part of Off The Hip's Xmas party this Friday night w/The Beat Taboo, Big League and The debut performance of Thee Cat Burglars.
11. Jackie Got Lemons | Tuesday | None Of Your Business
- This is from their debut album. They were meant to launch it on the weekend but had to cancel due to the weather. However, they will be rescheduling for sometime in January.
12. Dwight Twilley Band | Looking For The Magic | Twilley Don't Mind
- From the 2nd and final album from this great power pop duo.
13. Young Modern | Red Dress On | Play Faster
- From this Adelaide Power Pop band's only album, released in 1978. They are playing a rare gig on Saturday night at The Flying Saucer Club in Elstenwick with Ash Naylor and The Triad.

14. Blood Duster | Instrumental 1 | Str8 Outta Northcote
- Blood Duster are calling it quits after 26 years and are playing their last gigs at The Tote on Friday night and The Corner on Sat night. Both are sold out but I wanted to give a tribute by playing their least offensive but extremely rocking song.
15. AC/DC | Down Payment Blues | Powerage
- Although it happened a little while ago, I had to do a tribute to Malcolm Young. This is one of my fave AC/DC tracks from one of my fave albums.
16. Sheer Mag | Rank And File | Need To Feel Your Love
- From this Philadelphia based band's debut album released earlier this year.

17. Angel Olsen | Fly On Your Wall | Phases
- Taken from Angel's B-sides & rarities album, released recently. It has just been announced that she will be playing solo at the Boogie Festival over Easter weekend next year.
18. George Harrison | This Guitar (Can't Keep From Crying) | Extra Texture (Read All About It)
- This album from 1975 is one of George's more under-rated works but it has some great songs including this one.
19. Dan Flynn | The Man I Could Have Become | Ghost Melodies
- From Dan's excellent album, released earlier this year.
20. Aldous Harding | Party | Party
- Aldous is playing at the Meredith Music Festival this weekend. She will be back here for the Laneway Festival in February and a sideshow at The Croxton on Feb 7th.

21. The Drunken Poachers | Saint Monica's House | To Poach Or Not To Poach
- This is the debut full-length album from this local band. Their launch was on the weekend but they will be doing a vinyl launch early in the new year.
22. Shelley Short | Muddy River | Pacific City
- From this Oregon native's latest album, released earlier this year. Shelley will be touring in January.
23. Sean McMahon | Show Me The Way | Introducing Blind Date Records [Sampler]
- Blind Date Records are a new local label with some debut releases coming soon including one by Sean.
24. James Kenyon | Out On The Wire | Imagine You Are Driving
- James will be launching this single at The Northcote Social Club on Sunday afternoon w/Liam Linley + Hollie Joyce. This will be James' last gig at the end of a national tour.
