Opening Theme: Eilen Jewell | Radio City | Queen Of The Minor Key

1. Chase | Livin' In Heat | Chase
- Chase were led by former Maynard Ferguson and Woody Herman trumpet player Bill Chase but were more jazz-rock. This is from their first album, released in 1971.
2. Chicago | In The Country | Chicago (AKA Chicago II)
- Another slice of Jazz-Rock. This is taken from Chicago's 2nd album which isn't as consistent as their classic debut album, Chicago Transit Authority but there are several gems including this one. Their albums after this slowly went down the road of Adult Contemporary pop but their first 2 albums are worth checking out.
3. Lance Ferguson | Spiral | Raw Material
- This is taken from Lance's first album under his own name. It's a concept album where he wrote and produced 12 original recordings which he gave to producers around the world who were able to sample them however they liked to create a new track. The album consists of one disc of the original tracks and one of the newly sample tracks. This one is from the former and definitely has a jazz-rock feel.
4. Julie Driscoll, Brian Auger & The Trinity | Why (Am I Treated So Bad)? | Open
- Although their best known for their great cover of Bob Dylan's This Wheel's On Fire, this is a great bluesy soul take on a tune penned by Pops Staples and is included on their debut album together, released in 1967.
