Old-school, new-school, rare-groove, eclectic synth and electronic music.

Solaris traces the lineage and relationship between dance and experimental music from its beginnings into the 21st century.

From the 1950s, almost everything catches our eye - early Japanese electronic, to German synth experiments, to the birth of the MIDI and the rise of house. Whether it's taking a temporal or spatial focus for each show and following its roots and progressions through the hours, or weaving together the genres each week to form an ensemble of complimentary tunes, we hope each week to take listeners on a rich and invigorating journey through the soundscape of electronic music.
