Opening Theme: Eilen Jewell | Radio City | Queen Of The Minor Key

1. Kamasi Washington | Show Us The Way | Heaven And Earth
- Kamasi's 2nd full-length album was released in June. It was followed by an EP called The Choice, copies of which were found in the vinyl copies of this album.
2. Idris Ackamoor & The Pyramids | Message To My People | An Angel Fell
- This is another new spiritual jazz album, released recently.
3. Archie Shepp | Attica Blues | Attica Blues
- A classic jazz/funk tune from this great avant-garde saxophonist, released in 1972.

4. The Meltdown | Crooked Country | The Meltdown
- The Meltdown are playing every Sunday afternoon in July at The Spotted Mallard.
5. The Sugarcanes | Lonely | Songs For Modern Lovers
- This is the latest song from the band's forthcoming 2nd album. They are playing at Soul-a-Go-Go on Saturday night at The Night Cat.
6. The Box Tops | Together | Dimensions
- Like The Sugarcanes, The Box Tops successfully combine southern soul and rock. This is from their 4th album, released in 1969.
7. The Isley Brothers | Ohio/Machine Gun | Givin' It Back
- This is a great double-cover version which are both quite different to their respective originals. Released in 1971.

8. Baby Blue | Fire And Ice | Do What You Like
- Baby Blue are launching this EP on Friday night at the Curtin Hotel with support from The Ocean Party + Emilee South.
9. Pony Face | Holly Said | Hypnotised
- Pony Face are putting on an anniversary ball to celebrate their 10 year anniversary on Aug 10th at Howler. This is one of my favourite tracks of theirs, taken from their 3rd album from 2012.
10. Wah! Heat | Better Scream | 7" Single
- A tune that I'm lovin' at the moment from this Liverpool band led by Pete Wylie and released in 1979.
11. Empat Lima | Cantaloupe | Cling Clang Clutter
- This is the band's 2nd album and they will be launching it at the Moreland City Band Room in East Brunswick on July 14th. It is also the PBS station feature album this week!

12. The Beach Boys | The Trader | Holland
- I've been listening to The Beach Boys heaps lately. While I've mainly been listening to the Pet Sounds/Smile era, I've delved into some of their lesser known albums as well and this album from 1973 featuring this great Carl Wilson song is wonderful and well worth checking out.
13. Liam Linley | The Course Of Love | The Course Of Love
- Liam's next gig will be as part of the Go! launch. Go! is a new music service to support and assist independent artists. The launch will be at the Gasometer Hotel on July 13th and also featuring Blake Scott, Cash Savage, Delsinki, Nick Batterham and Pretty City.
14. Courtney Barnett | Help Your Self | Tell Me How You Really Feel
- Courtney will be playing at Festival Hall on September 1st.

They will be playing in Melbourne at The Palais on December 1st.

16. Suzanne Vega | Solitude Standing | Close-Up Vol. 3 - State Of Being
- This is a great acoustic version of the title track from Suzanne's 1987 album which she be playing in its entirety on Aug 3rd at The Palais as part of The Anniversary Tour along with 99.9F.
17. Fraser A. Gorman | Wait For My Love | Easy Dazy

- This is Dan's 4th studio album which will be released on Aug 10th and launched at the Northcote Social Club on September 2nd with support from Charm Of Finches.
