Experience PBS making radio live on stage at this year's Port Fairy Folk Festival.
PBS 106.7FM will host both Lauren Plant's Down By The River and Matt’s Frederick’s The Juke Joint live on stage at this year's Port Fairy Folk Festival.
Expect to be treated to an incredible cross pollination of radio and live music, with both programs recorded live for you to listen back later in the comfort of your home after witnessing at the festival.
On Saturday March 7, join Lauren Plant on the Pypgil Gundidj stage from 1pm-3pm for a live broadcast of Down By The River. Step into an intimate, one-of-a-kind show where live music and radio collide. This special event brings the magic of a live broadcast to the stage, featuring performances from Charley Castle & The Boys In The Well, Irish Mythen, and Svavar Knútur. Hosted by Lauren Plant, the show will be recorded for delayed broadcast.
On Sunday March 8, join Matt Frederick on the Pypgil Gundidj stage from 1pm-3pm for a live broadcast of The Juke Joint. Join us for a unique and unforgettable experience as we bring radio to life on stage in a very special concert to be broadcast on PBS. Featuring the incredible talents of Anna Scionti, Lloyd Speigel and Nick Charles, each act will perform individually before coming together for an electrifying collaborative jam session. Hosted by PBS DJ and host Matt Frederick, this event will be recorded for broadcast on The Juke Joint and streamed online at pbsfm.org.au.
