Southern Style

Southern Style's emphasis is on Bluegrass Music, both traditional and contemporary. It also explores this music's roots and influences through Old-Time American music and some Acoustic Blues, Cajun and Western Swing.

Particular instruments such as the Banjo or fiddle are often featured as are interviews with some of the genres' leading exponents and in-studio live to air performances where possible.

It's not the only kind of music I like but it has always been very under represented here in Australia, especially on radio, and I like to try to educate people about it. My show has been running for fifteen years, ten of them at PBS FM.
