Mon 15 May 2017 to Sun 28 May 2017

We are a completely independent, not-for-profit community radio station, and we rely on listener support to stay in orbit. From May 15 to 28, we are calling on all listeners to take One Small Step and sign up to join the constellation that is the PBS community.

We are dedicated to championing the universe of local, specialist and underrepresented music across Melbourne and (way) beyond. For the 2017 Radio Festival, all listeners who sign up to become a PBS sonic astronaut will join the space race to win one of our major prizes:

- A brand new, ride away, classic Primavera 125 red Vespa from Peter Stevens Motorcycles
- Funk Vector Turntable from audiophile
- A hand-crafted Maton SRS808C acoustic guitar with hard case
- A live music double pass to The Old Bar for 12 months
- Tickets for you and 3 friends to Golden Plains 2018, plus food & drink vouchers

All members who sign up this year will receive an exclusive selection of music from PBS’ Studio 5 Live series, including tracks by The Peep Tempel, Cash Savage & The Last Drinks, RVG, No Zu, Chain & The Gang just to name a few. Plus, by becoming a Passionate member or higher, you’ll receive a special edition Radio Festival t-shirt designed by local artist Ellen Porteus.

If that’s not enough, PBS has our biggest selection of daily prizes ever as well as major prizes dedicated exclusively to our different membership levels: Performers, Businesses, Pets, Friends for a Decade, Friends for Life and for Passionate and Patron members.

PBS Radio Festival 2017 blasts off at 12am on Monday 15th of May and touches down at midnight on Sunday 28th May.

If you want to take that One Small Step from being a listener to being a member and keep PBS circling the sun, call 03 8415 1067 or sign up online here to join the community.
