Staying in Melbourne town for the Easter long weekend? We have got you sorted. Returning in its heavy, glorious bi-monthly format, we have had double the time to prepare a massive party to quench your thirst for all the early reggae, rocksteady and ska goodness you have become accustomed to at the world famous Jamaica Jump-Up.

For their first Jump-Up in over a year, we’ll be treated to a live set from Shanty Town (remember this?). Plus, PBS 106.7FM’s own Mohair Slim (Blue Juice), Rick Howe (Riddim Yard) and Miss Goldie (Boss Action) on the decks with guest selectors DJ Lady Erica and Johnny El Pàjaro digging out their finest 45s, plus Kilmarnock Steve (The Ska Vendors, Melbourne Ska Orchestra) on the vibes as MC!

This Jamaica Jump-Up follows from our hugely successful, one-off charity event in February raising money for Kingston’s Alpha Boys School – where our Jump-Up fam pitched in to collect over $5000 for the cause.

Saturday, April 15th at The Gasometer Hotel, 9pm-3am.

$10 PBS MEMBERS // $15 FUTURE MEMBERS. Door sales only – get down early to avoid missing out!
