PBS 106.7FM is proud to announce its monthly ska, rocksteady and early reggae event Jamaica Jump-Up is back at The Gasometer Hotel on Saturday, September 19 for a huge sixth outing.

Word has spread about the killer vibes at Jamaica Jump-Up all the way to the harbour city, so the Sydney massive have decided they need to come see what all the fuss is about. Let’s show them how we do it.

PBS selectors Jesse I (Babylon Burning) and Mohair Slim (Blue Juice) are joined by fellow resident Stryka D (Break the Chain), making a welcome return to the Jump-Up after suffering through an English summer. They’ll take on Sydney heavyweight selectors Rudi Powell and Wally Wally on the decks with 100% vinyl selections from 9pm until 3am.

To top it all off Sydney rocksteady kingpin Pat Powell will front a special live set with the Jump-Up All-Stars, made up of the cream of Melbourne’s rocksteady and ska players. Unity is strength.
