In addition to their two Bluesfest performances, New Zealand’s favourite collaborative group Fly My Pretties will perform a Melbourne show at 170 Russell this April.

Conceptualised by The Black Seeds' Barnaby Weir and Loop's Mikee Tucker, this unique, multi-platinum-selling features a selection of New Zealand’s finest contemporary musicians, all set to a visual backdrop. Since its inception, Fly My Pretties has produced four platinum selling albums and grown to become a local legend that continues to reach people all over the world;

They've won Best Roots Album at the 2007 New Zealand Music Awards, received multiple B-Net nominations, and has been received internationally with popularity and acclaim. Fly My Pretties - A Story (2011) debuted at #1 on the Top 40 RIANZ album charts, and its tour sold out.

Fly My Pretties have launched many careers including Hollie Smith and have featured members of New Zealand’s most respected bands, including: The Black Seeds, Kora, Trinity Roots, Fat Freddy’s Drop, The Phoenix Foundation, Head Like A Hole and Flying Nun greats The Hasselhoff Experiment.
