The purveyors of Hunk rock are here. Their name? Peak Twins. Formed 2 years ago in a share house in Adelaide, Liam and Joel found themselves jamming well into the night. These messy inebriated sessions revealed some sweet ideas. Listening back to the recordings in the daylight hours, they realised their collaborative effort had real merit. Friends wholeheartedly agreed, so Liam and Joel put together a band of mates featuring Ben Quichi on guitar, Chad McLauchlan on bass on James Mannix on drums. To date, Peak Twins released a split 12” with Scott and Charlene’s Wedding, and there may be an album on the way in 2012. Now located in Melbourne, catch them play their first live to air on The Straight To You Sessions on Homebrew - Monday September 3 from 3-5pm on PBSFM.
Produced with the assistance of the Community Broadcasting Foundation and AMRAP.
