OLD SCHOOL METAL AND GLAM

This show gives exposure to the pioneers of metal in the traditional sense, playing lots of the old school metal sounds from the AOR, Glam, and NWOBHM era, as well as playing local Aussie talent. Featuring music from the late 60’s upwards, you'll hear bands such as Deep Purple, Scorpions, Alice Cooper, The Rods, Motley Crue, Kiss, Cinderella and Rainbow among others, as well as bands influenced by this type of music.

Internet streaming as well as archive shows being available on line for 12 months, Metal Genesis includes interviews, gig guide and requests. So if you like heavy music, big riffs, glam and old school sounds, tune in from 10pm till 12 every friday night.
