Vitties and Grits

The mysterious concoction that is “vittles ‘n’ grits” has been a staple food for large parts of Southern USA for many a year, fuelling the bellies where blues and folk began, and where its mighty heart still beats.

Still relevant in its rawest form today, a great deal of modern music we know has at least a semblance of origins, inspiration and/or rhythm derived from blues and folk music.

So from the music of the bayous through the Mississippi delta, to Chicago and beyond, to the rest of the world - Vittles & Grits interweaves a wide range of tunes to entertain and celebrate the best and occasionally quirky role of the blues and folk in keeping the beat.
