Why become a Member?
PBS FM is a not-for-profit co-operative, largely run by unpaid volunteers. We receive no income from government institutions nor industry, and rely on listeners like you to help with our running costs. The best way to actively show your support for PBS FM is to become a member. Find out more about PBS Here.
What do we offer you?
We broadcast an incredible variety of specialist music programs, comedy, arts and current affairs, 24 hours a day, every day of the year.
As a member you also get a great range of benefits:
Your PBS FM membership card and discounter directory that entitles you to discounts from loads of retail outlets, bookshops, cinemas, theatres, restaurants, record stores and more, plus discounts at PBS concerts and events.
You will be eligible for daily membership on-air giveaways. You will also be eligible for member only web giveaways. Most of our Web giveaways are open for all, but some are limited to Members. Funny thing is that on our community station you can win hundreds of dollars worth of prizes. For example festival packs including accommodation, double passes to gigs and more CDs then I care to mention. Tune into a commercial station and you are lucky to win a bumper sticker.

Your PBS bumper sticker. You can put this on your car bumper or window to show that you care about an important part of Melbourne's culture.
There are also other benefits like feeling good about supporting a genuine alternative to mainstream commercial radio, qualifying for hundreds of dollars worth of daily member give-aways, and becoming involved with the station as a volunteer.
