Ball Hanlon Schulz are playing a series of Quiet Tangents concerts at the Eleventh Hours theatre, including a collaboration with the Daftar Aval Trio on Saturday 15th June. Anthony Schulz (accordion), Vahideh Eisaiei (qanun) and Zoë Barry (bass) visit the Global Village to play some live music and to talk with Roger about the performance.

After twelve years, Dirty Three is back with new compositions to play and new stories to tell, marking their return to the hometown stage where it all began in 1992 at an Abbotsford pub. They don’t get together very often these days, but to see them perform is to witness three men shoulder-deep in the task. Floyd Thursby visits Roger on Global Village with fellow musicians Dan Witton and Harry Lye to play examples from Floyd's new album 'Every Day's Another Dance', in the lead-up to its launch at Jazzlab on Saturday, July 20th.
